Primitive Survivors - The Essentials For Camping & Hiking

If you do not bring the right things on your mountain camping trip, you might end up with blisters, backaches or frostbite. Before you go for camping, make sure you have all the essentials.  Whether you are new to backcountry camping or only want a backpacking checklist to assist you get on the trail, you should plan a list of gear for your big adventure. Your trip will most possibly be safe and free of accidents, but if you have a wilderness emergency you will want a few essential supplies to assist the injured be more at ease prior to getting them back to progress.
Ø  Cell-phone, two-way radio or satellite phone
Ø  Wilderness First Aid Kit
Ø  Whistle
Ø  Emergency tarp (reflective blanket)
Ø  Duct tape
Ø  Watch (with barometer and altimeter)
